Here’s everything you need to know to get your Nevada marriage license and make your Viva Las Vegas Weddings ceremony official:
1. Fill out the marriage license pre-application online
Do this within 90 days of your wedding date. It saves you time and makes the whole process smooth when you arrive to the marriage license bureau.
2. Use your legal names — exactly as they appear on your IDs
We know. It feels obvious. Yet somehow… it still goes wrong for people. So double-check!
3. Both partners must go together to pick up the license
No exceptions. It’s still an in-person process — even in 2025.
Go to the following address any day of the week (even on holidays!) from 8 AM to midnight:
Clark County Marriage License Bureau
201 E. Clark Ave, Las Vegas, NV.
4. Bring valid government-issued photo ID
Driver’s license, passport, or military ID works great. One for you, one for your fiancé.
5. Bring your payment method
The license costs:
* $102 (cash)
* $105.29 (credit/debit)
6. A few things you’ll need to know (but not bring)
* If you’re a U.S. citizen: know your social security number (card not required).
* If divorced or widowed: know the date, city, and state where it was finalized.
* Your license is valid for one year — you must have a ceremony within that time to make it legal.
Once you have your license, bring it to us — and we’ll take it from there!
