Fremont Street Wedding
Even during the pandemic, there’s a lot of fun to be had in Las Vegas on your wedding trip!

So you’re traveling to Vegas to get married or to renew your vows with Elvis for a special anniversary. Or maybe you’re the bridal party or wedding guests? During the wild and wooly times this pandemic has brought us, just what is there to do in Vegas while you’re here? You’ll want some honeymoon fun, some sun, and some great meals, right? Here’s a list of a few currently open attractions in Las Vegas. Bear in mind, some are open only part of the week, generally Thursday through Sunday. So you’ll want to call ahead to make sure of days and hours and to make reservations.

Hangover Las Vegas Sign Wedding

For starters, check out these open attractions, most on the Strip. Some are located in Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas, a cab or Uber ride up Las Vegas Boulevard:

The Neon Museum (outdoor boneyard for classic Vegas signage!)

The Mob Museum (downtown’s vintage Vegas attraction with gift shop)

The Linq Promenade and High Roller (sky-high views of the Strip)

The Eiffel Tower (at Paris Las Vegas)

Top Golf (at MGM Grand)

The Shark Reef Aquarium (at Mandalay Bay)

Bellagio Wedding Pictures
By all means don’t miss the free stuff, like the Bellagio Fountains and atmosphere performances in hotels like The Venetian!

In addition to these popular attractions, several pools are open, most requiring reservations, and most open later in the week and weekends. Call ahead to avoid disappointment. Open pools include the Marquee Pool at the Cosmopolitan, Liquid Pool at the Aria, Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand, among others gradually opening to guests.

Not all restaurants and shops are open, but the mega resorts seem to make sure that there are adequate spots to dine and spend money until tourism is back to capacity once again. It goes without saying, gambling is everywhere, with safety protocols and plexiglass barriers in place. Remember, too, masks are required for the time being. Safety first. So get out the glue gun to add sequins for your Vegas nightlife face coverings, ladies!
